I Dont Like This Set of Braids!

I am mad sitting up here thinking about my Feb 2008 set of braids. I can't believe I let that damn lady charge me $220! I have only had these briads for 1 month and they already look 3 months old! I told her when I got there I wanted the same kinda hair like the braids I had in Oct. I told her she used off black but she insisted she used black and that the black color would blend good with my hair. SHE LIED and I was a fool to listen. I even let her talk me into believing that the brand of hair she was using this time was better. That is why she charged more.

When it comes to picking a good brand of hair to use I am so clueless. Now my off black / brown hair looks really old and ugly poking out through this jet black looking mess on my head. That did it for me. I will not be going to her anymore. One other thing I didn't like is she keep asking me why I didn't get a relaxer before I put the braids in my hair. Its not like my hair was IMPOSSIBLE to comb they were just lazy! On top of that I thought ALL people knew NOT to put a relaxer in your hair before braids.

That's the thing about these so called stylist. They don't care about our hair, they just want there work to come out good so they can get more customers. Also there was like 3 or 4 different people up in my head during different times. Its official I am through with them. Sorry for the vent y'all but it was overdue. :)

My lesson learn: Educate yourself on the different type of braiding hair.

Is Your Hair too Straight?

Ladies just think when you relax your hair bone strait its so much easier for that strand of hair to be prone to breakage. When that hair is relaxed straight it is stretched to its max. So just think of all the straining you are putting on that strand of hair when you are tugging or pulling it in a pony tail. I know we all love that straight look but if you don't like to texlax just don't relax your hair to the point where it looks like it is too straight!
